Independent Media. Human Conversations. Unfiltered Accountability.

The Contrast Project began as a Jacksonville-based talk show centered on local voices, creative people and community conversations. It has since grown into a wider independent media platform producing long-form interviews, original commentary, political analysis, cultural reporting, social justice coverage and programming focused on human connection.

The format has evolved because the world has changed. Conversations now move across studios, remote interviews, written investigations, video commentary, social platforms and community spaces. What has not changed is the commitment to giving serious subjects the time, context and honesty they deserve.

We are not interested in manufacturing conflict to juice an algorithm. We are interested in understanding where conflict comes from, who benefits from it, who gets hurt by it and what the hell we can do about it.

One World with Tracy + Jim

One World with Tracy + Jim is the human-centered flagship of The Contrast Project. Hosted by Tracy Rigdon and Jim Alabiso, the program explores community, creativity, culture, self-care, identity, purpose and the experiences connecting people across political, racial, generational and cultural boundaries.

One World is built on a simple idea: unity does not require uniformity. It does not mean ignoring injustice, watering down disagreement or pretending serious divisions do not exist. It means recognizing that another person’s dignity, safety and future are connected to our own.

The conversations are unscripted, curious and grounded in lived experience. Guests are given room to speak, explain and sometimes wrestle openly with difficult questions. The show does not chase polished perfection. It looks for honesty.
